Embarassed

Won an award in the department but don't feel good at all. I should thank the person who nominated me but the way he provide the feedback is too perfect till none of my colleagues are happy about it except for outstation colleagues.  My supervisor did congratulate me but I just realised that she is not genuine after speaking to my boss 30 minutes ago. Supervisor told my boss that I did not appear to be who I am in the feedback form. T.T

Looks like many of them were talking bad things about it since the day my boss announced about the award. I felt so embarrased now ! I felt like crying but no tears. I felt like digging a hole and hide myself but I don't know how.

Who should I blame ? The sales rep for nominating me ? The boss for being not familiar with the job I'm doing ? Myself (of course) for having achievements few years back but not this year ? The department is so competitive this year. Politics is not strong here but people here are very fake at some times. I just do my part. I don't need recognisions and then kena condemed after that. I don't want. I seriously don't want. I'm very sad actually. I don't want awards to demotivate myself !

The inconvenience

To what extend can we hate a person ? You might grow up with them, not liking them when you were young and hate them when you grow up. When you were young, you have no right to hate a person, especially when he / she is your close relatives. You only get to choose to dislike and unfriend them but still meet up with them when there are any family reunions. You can't tell your parents you don't like them as you were too young to make such a decision.

Years past and you have been very nice as your parents always tell you the hidden good side of them. Your parents reminded that you must be good to your relatives but unfortunately, being good means giving them oppurtunity to take advantage on you. I don't mean all relatives are bad. People grow up to become a better person. Some people really changed from bad to good. They are more understanding and considerate in some ways.

I don't understand why some of them (I'm seriously refering to some close relatives) can be so inconsiderate at all times especially when they visit PD. Why aren't they punctual everytime (yes, i mean it - EVERYTIME !) when they are coming to PD ? Time difference of 30 to 60 minutes is alright but not half a day right ??!! It's not fun to cancel any plans last minute to wait for the late comers when they only reach in the middle of the night.

When we were kids, daddy and mummy taught us how to behave if we visit other people's house. "Sit down quietly and don't touch a thing ! Ask us if you need anything." Why their parents don't teach them that way ? I still remember one of the siblings took my brother's PS games without his knowledge. It was just pirated CDs that they can afford to buy and the CDs actually belong to my brother's friend ! They just do anything they like in our house - use the internet without asking for permission, eat and drink anything they can find in the kitchen and fridge, keep our house keys without our knowledge, etc.

The only thing that make me turned into an incredible hulk is when they take advantage of mummy ! I hope all these will end soon as I want mummy to live in peace. I want her to do anything she like but not helping others to do what they need. It's quite annoying ! Please leave my mother alone !! Would appreciate if you do not create inconvenience to others for your own convenient !

Bird-day pressie

Well, took these pictures to show off my birthday present from darling. Not very clear from my i-pod touch. Just feeling very good when there is something hanging on my neck. No photoshop. No close up picture of the necklace because camera is too lousy. But I like the orangee lighting in the hotel room. So got birthday feel eventhough it was not my birth-date, but it's still my birth-month July ! Yipee...

Ah Yat Abalone

A last minute plan. Darling decided to go somewhere for a short break just the two of us since our last honeymoon trip last October. We spent a night at First World Plaza Hotel, Genting Highlands but dropped by Bukit Tinggi for lunch and took some pictures to proof that we've been there. I can say that there's nothing much at Bukit Tinggi and food was not good at all. Not fresh and too pricey. Hence, I didn't bother to take any pictures of the food.

Well, I might get the names wrongly in English as I can't read Chinese. Food was not bad except for the Cold Duck and Almond soup. As we don't like cold food so the duck tasted a little difficult for chewing and swallowing. I still remember I ordered Almond Tea once and that was my first and last to order this again. Since it's in the package, I ignored consuming the tasted-like-cough-mixture drink. Yucks !

This will be the most expensive meal ever ! Once in a lifetime. Unless someone is willing to belanja us or Mr Lim Goh Tong is willing to spare us some money. Thank you in advance.
