Stupid doctor

Visited the compay doctor this afternoon.

Me : Hi doctor...
Doc : *quiet*
Me : Flu and cough...
Doc : Sore throat ?
Me : Yes
Doc : What's the colour of your flem ? Open your mouth.
Me : Transparent. Ahhh...
Doc : *check fever*

waited a while...

Doc : OK, no fever.

doctor writing but didn't explain my condition and what medicine to give me...

Me : Doctor, 1 more thing. I can feel something in my right eyes when I close my eyes.
Doc : *takes torch light and check my eyes* There is a small lump but don't worry. It will disappear when you rub your eyes.
Me : I tried rubbing and used Eye Mo but it's still the same. It doesn't matter right ? It will disappear or not ?
Doc : Yes.
Me : Thank you doctor. *walks out*

Nurse : This is flu medicine for morning, flu medicine for night, some lozenges for your sore throat and eye drop for your eyes. Please clean your hands before using ya.
Me : No cough mixture ?
Nurse : If you want I can help you to request from the doctor.
Me : OK please.
Nurse : *walks in and came back in 30 seconds* Doctor says your eye doesn't need the eye drops. I will change with the cough mixture for you.
Me : *stunned*

So, this is about save cost or he is just a stupid doctor who doesn't like his job at all ?

Blurry vision

I woke up at 6.30am yesterday morning, feeling very fresh as I took 2 pain killers before sleep. I really had a good rest as it was raining in the middle of the night. Texted my friend in the morning while getting ready to go for my eye check at the hospital. Normally he is an early person but he reached sharp 7am due to the bad traffic and weather.

We had a lousy dim sum breakfast near SS2's Rothman's Roundabout (can't remember the name of the restaurant). The service was very slow and food was not tasty at all. The hot chinese tea tasted like pipe water ! Food was not ready by 7.30am (normally dim sum restaurants are ready by 4 or 5am) so we had to wait for approximately 15 minutes for our first dim sum to be served except for lo mai kai (Steamed Sticky Glutinous Rice with Chicken). Luckily we were still early for my appointment so we chatted while waiting for our food.

To my surprise, my friend planned to wait for me at the hospital. I told him the process will take about 3 hours but he insist to wait so I left him alone at the lobby with other patients. My appointment is at 9am. After all the eye exam and consultation, I paid my fees of RM100 at the lobby and proceed for lunch at Station 1, Jaya 1.

OMG, I can't see my food la !

The eye drops that they used to dilute my eye balls had side effects so they told me earlier I need transportation after the check up. Hence, I've asked help from this friend and he agreed without hesistating. True enough, my reading vision was very blur after that. I can't see near when I was wearing my glasses as if I had long-sighted. Well, I've got 老花 at the age of 29 @_@ (for few hours only la). The doctor told me that my reading vision will be blur until the drops wear off. It normally take about 6 hours but mine only was back to normal when I woke up this morning.

Headache

Am having slight headache since I came back from lunch. I didn't take heavy lunch and the weather outside was not too hot (maybe because I was feeling very cold in the office and in William's car). Tried to relax my eyes by removing my glasses but it's still the same. At the same time, I felt dizzy because of my blur vision without my specs. With or without vision, I'm feeling the pain. I think I need my bed now.

Suddenly, I realised there is an annoying sound from my colleague's cubicle. It's her fan ! Her old type of square table fan the doesn't help at all when it's placed at a very hot area. The sound has been there for some time. I stood up to complain to Yong and he agreed he had headache too. Without wasting any time, he walked to her cubicle and switched off the fan. To our surprise, another colleague mumbled 'Oh, that's better'. The owner asked 'Bising ke ? We said 'Yes' and continued our work.
