I woke up at 6.30am yesterday morning, feeling very fresh as I took 2 pain killers before sleep. I really had a good rest as it was raining in the middle of the night. Texted my friend in the morning while getting ready to go for my eye check at the hospital. Normally he is an early person but he reached sharp 7am due to the bad traffic and weather.
We had a lousy dim sum breakfast near SS2's Rothman's Roundabout (can't remember the name of the restaurant). The service was very slow and food was not tasty at all. The hot chinese tea tasted like pipe water ! Food was not ready by 7.30am (normally dim sum restaurants are ready by 4 or 5am) so we had to wait for approximately 15 minutes for our first dim sum to be served except for lo mai kai (Steamed Sticky Glutinous Rice with Chicken). Luckily we were still early for my appointment so we chatted while waiting for our food.
To my surprise, my friend planned to wait for me at the hospital. I told him the process will take about 3 hours but he insist to wait so I left him alone at the lobby with other patients. My appointment is at 9am. After all the eye exam and consultation, I paid my fees of RM100 at the lobby and proceed for lunch at Station 1, Jaya 1.
OMG, I can't see my food la !
The eye drops that they used to dilute my eye balls had side effects so they told me earlier I need transportation after the check up. Hence, I've asked help from this friend and he agreed without hesistating. True enough, my reading vision was very blur after that. I can't see near when I was wearing my glasses as if I had long-sighted. Well, I've got 老花 at the age of 29 @_@ (for few hours only la). The doctor told me that my reading vision will be blur until the drops wear off. It normally take about 6 hours but mine only was back to normal when I woke up this morning.
