HSSE

We had our Safety Day Launching this morning in the office Thearette and the HSSE Week will continue for the next 2 days. There is a booth doing Life Check for free downstairs and I happily joined the other colleagues to participate in the NKF Early Detection & Prevention Saves Lives Programme. I did the simple checkup for Blood Pressure, Sugar and Cholesterol. They are under the National Kidney Foundation of Malaysia.

Below are my readings :
1) Body Mass Index : 19.0kg/m2 (Normal range is 18.5 - 22.9) Meaning my Health Risk is Acceptable !
2) Height : 1.58m
3) Weight : 48.0kg (Normal weight for my height is 47 - 58kg) The nurse mentioned that I shouldn't go any lower than my weight now. Then, whats the purpose of me dieting ? Haha...
4) Waist Circumference : 62cm (Guidelines for Female is <80cm) I want to go lower than that !
5) Blood Pressure : 96/53 (Category under Normal - Pre-hypertension)
6) Urinalysis : Glucose / Protein / Blood - All negative
7) Random Blood Glucose : 4.5mmol/L (<5.6 means Low probability of diabetes)
8) Random Blood Total Cholesterol : 4.78mmol/L (<5.17 means Desirable)

Result : I should drink 2 Litres of water everyday, eat more fruits and vegetables, minimum 3 eggs a week only and lesser santan. Overall, my readings are very good ! Yay ! Thank you thank you...so now I should maintain maintain ! :p

Other than that, I did my Bone Check too. My reading is 0.3 under the Low Risk category.
Scale : -4 till -2.5 (High Risk) / -2.5 till -1 (Normal Risk) / -1 till 2 (Low Risk)

Anlene Nano-Calcium Chocolate Flavour + Free Mug

I was quite surprise with my reading as I'm not a milk person. I don't like the taste of milk and am afraid chocolate milk will make me fat. Since I need to be healthy before I conceive and I don't want to experience Osteoporosis when I'm older, I think I should start consuming milk.

Hence, I bought a packet of Anlene Chocolate (700g) to mix with my oatmeal for breakfast. 4 tablespoons (with warm or cold water) twice a day. I might start with 3 glasses a week first so that I can get used to the smell of milk. Chocolate won't taste too bad, I think. Happy drinking !
